Dr. William has performed thousands of breast surgeries and hundreds of breast lifts with implants. It is one of the most technically challenging operations a plastic surgeon can perform but Dr William has refined and perfected his approach to a breast lift with an implant for a simple reason: he let’s the patient’s breast select the implant size. In keeping with his concept of “It’s all about the shape”, Dr William allows the breast to determine the size of the implant.

What To Expect

A breast lift with an implant takes longer to heal and recover then a breast augmentation. The incisions are much different than an augmentation and take longer to heal and the beast undergoes a complete re-organization internally which has to heal before it is safe to perform vigorous activity so we require our patients to refrain from vigorous activity for six weeks following surgery and are to remain in their post-surgical bra during this time only removing it to bathe. Scar care begins at 3 weeks or once all incisions are completely healed. It is not uncommon to have small areas of the incisions that require longer to heal.
